The Mush Room

This little fairy tale cabins is set in a stand of giant fir and cedar trees. The cabin overlooks a waterfall and trout pond.
The cabin has electricity, cold water sink, tea & coffee station and wood fired heat in addition to an electric heater November through April.  There is one cozy double bed so this cabin only accomodates two people or a couple that is comfortable sleeping with their baby.
Bring your rain boots fall through spring as the trails get wet and muddy.
Guests are welcome to use and socialize in the beautiful outdoor kitchen and fire circle located  between the the apple orchard and upper pond.  The cabins share an outdoor, composting toilet and outdoor shower house. 
If you have mobility issues the cabins are not a good lodging choice for you as the parking area is at least a 100 yards away from the cabins and requires a walk down an earthen trail.

SunRay Shire is the family homestead of SunRay Kelley, hailed by The New York Times as the “Master Builder of the Counterculture,” and The Economist as a “Wizard in the Woods.” 
SunRay and his partner, Bonnie Howard have lived and built together for the last 20 years.
