The Stump House

This cozy little cabins is set in a stand of giant fir and cedar trees. The cabin perched above a trout pond is frequently visited by a blue heron and owls.

The cabin has electricity, cold water sink, tea & coffee station and wood fired heat in addition to an electric heater.

In addition to a double bed this cabin has a big chair that folds out into a small single bed for a third person .

November through April bring your rain boots as the trails get wet and muddy.

Guests are welcome to use and socialize in the beautiful outdoor kitchen and fire circle located  between the the apple orchard and upper pond.  The cabins share an outdoor, composting toilet and outdoor shower house.

If you have mobility issues the cabins are not a good lodging choice for you as the parking area is at least a 100 yards away from the cabins and requires a walk down an earthen trail.
